Golden Time

Amazing Chinese BBQ restaurant! Make sure you call ahead to make reservations. We arrived at 7 pm on Saturday without a reservation and waited 30 minutes. This was not our first choice for BBQ but we were very fortunate to find this gem.Very good skewers, eggplant, and friendly service. It was a unique and fun experience cooking our own skewers on their rotating machine. They give complimentary ice cream bars after dinner.Overall, this place has a very fun vibe and makes for a great evening out. Looking forward to returning soon.

Great authentic Chinese BBQ. Good spot for casual gathering or family dine out with kids.Service was amazing. Our server asked us if we have any food allergies and took her time to explain which dishes are non-spicpy for the kids. She even offered to remove the seasonings so it won't be spicy at all. We visited on a week day at dinner time, it wasn't busy. The server attended to our table frequently.Food is good. The seasonings are very tasty. You don't have to order the expensive meat options like Wagyu, the regular beef is much worth the price. Food portions are bigger than other similar places. Drinks are a bit pricy. Would definitely go back.

Really cool experience to have your skewers grilled right in front of you. Everything tasted fresh and flavourful. Staff were super attentive, and friendly. They often came by to make sure nothing was getting overcooked. The staff are super detailed as well - when they helped us load skewers onto the grill, I noticed that they oriented the skewers on the grill relative to how many people were sitting on each side of the table.

The food and service was quite good. Above average cuts of meats. Price is okay, the shishamo / Capelin dish was a letdown, the flavors were there but 8.99 for 7 little fish is quite sad. There should be at least 12 for that price. The skewers cooked quickly and were seasoned nicely. The wings were also big and juicy, reminds me of the ones at happy tree before they shrunk.

Visited for the first time on a long weekend Sunday around 7 PM. We made a reservation just in case, which turned out to be a good idea because it got quite busy a few minutes later. It's a small location so a reservation is a good idea if you don't want to wait. I wouldnt take a group of more than 6 people.Each table is equipped with a rotating grill for the skewers, a selection of seasonings, and a little water dispenser with lemon and cucumber.We ordered a variety of skewers: lamb, pork belly, salmon belly, beef, Wagyu, honey and spicy chicken wings. All of it was delicious! The price was decent for the quantity and quality of food. They also give you an ice cream desert at the end.I'd want to go back with more friends so we can try more variety and items, like the fried rice and hot pot.We spent about 30 per person after tip and left feeling satisfied but not too full.

Bought my kids to Golden time bbq. The rotating skewer tabletop BBQ was incredibly exciting.They offer a fantastic variety of skewers, from lamb and pork to beef, along with kidney, chicken hearts, veggies, and bread and buns. Grilled oysters, garlic scallops, grilled baby octopus, and clams – everything marinated to perfection!The Sukiyaki Hot Pot was a great deal - just 13.68. Highly recommend

The automatic grill was super convenient, even though it broke down a few times. The staff kept checking on how the meat was cooking, which was really thoughtful. Overall, the dining experience was great, and the ingredients were fresh.

This place will always deliver a golden time for you. Individual skewers grilled in front of you, auto rotating like rotisserie, no minimum order of skewers makes it perfect for a date or with friends, so you can focus on conversation.Lamb skewers are amazing, but their lamb kidney, chicken heart, chicken wings, are perfectly seasoned. It's not all 1 kind of seasoning too.Must order their oysters and scallops, it's exactly what a Chinese grilled oyster and scallop should be.Service is amazing too, tentative, will come by and pull the meat out for you in case you forget. Definitely must come here.
